How to play Poodle Word
Poodle Word is a daily five-letter word game: one new puzzle every day, six guesses, and colour clues after every try. Type a word, press Enter, and read the tiles. Gold means correct letter, correct spot. Silver means the letter is in the word but belongs elsewhere. Grey means it is not in today's word.
Tips for solving the daily word
Open with a word that mixes common letters and two or three vowels, then use your second guess to test new letters rather than repeat grey ones. Watch for double letters, and remember that a letter can appear twice. If you are stuck, the hints page gives clues one step at a time, and the archive lets you practise on past puzzles.

What is Poodle Word?
Poodle Word is a free daily five-letter word game. Everyone gets the same secret word each day, and you have six guesses to find it. After each guess, the tiles show which letters are in the right place, which are in the word but misplaced, and which are not in the word at all.
How do I play Poodle Word?
Type any five-letter word and press Enter. Gold tiles are the right letter in the right spot, silver tiles are in the word but in a different spot, and grey tiles are not in the word. Use those clues to narrow down the answer within six tries.
When does a new puzzle come out?
A new Poodle Word puzzle starts every day at midnight in your local time. Come back daily to keep your streak going.
